Investment in education, scientific and technological research has proliferated far reaching creativity and innovation the world has ever known. The 21st century remains the closely wired and interconnected era than any other in history. From this setting we understand that education is not only a significant variable of social basis, but also a critical aspect when it comes to imparting knowledge and achieving career objectives. Modern times demand modern tools, practical strategies in business, running institutions at the click of a button, and computer engineering stays at the core of it all. It is on this backdrop that I intent to pursue Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto ST George.
Cyber Space has been an interesting area of study for me; because the world we live in is a complete testimony of what technological innovation and networking is all about. Hence, by majoring in Computer Engineering, I will be better placed to face a highly competitive and technological world of tomorrow with the necessary tools. A solid programming background will help me develop applications in several languages and as a result offer tangible solutions to various organizations.
I developed a soft spot in computers when I first interacted with a PlayStation. The gaming techniques used have always been intriguing to me. Moreover, I have some basic programming skills out of curiosity. I can write a simple code that shuts down a computer using a mobile phone miles away using JAVA.
