The purpose of this analysis is to understand the underlying causes of stereotypes and finding solutions to the issues. Some of the ways to bring change is to get the organizations and local businesses involved in community building activities. The individuals should be asked to lead by example of being the better person. There should be advise and counselling provided to the victims and the abusers to learn about the ways in which the society should move towards a harmonious society. There should be educational tools and councilors provided for a range of audiences. The positive events in the society should be advertised and promoted instead of sporadic negative events of racism and abuse (Carter and Murphy 277). There should be a more community building efforts taken by all the members and the news organizations in the society to help the people. There should be arenas for facilitating the partnerships and the linkages between the communities. The limitation of this approach is that there are no immediate solutions.
It needs to change individual by individual and people need to overcome their bias and fear against the other members of the community. This would leads to the development of more feasible solutions (Rock 113). The people as such do not want to live in fear and bias. They want to live peaceful lives with their families. This should be used as an inception point to spread messages about community harmony. There are a lot of negative stereotyping and bias in the society. This needs to be addressed immediately. The issue however is that there is no immediate solutions for this age old issue. As a first step, the media should stop propagating sporadic events and focus on the positive events in the society to develop a much stronger community. More than hatred the people are driven by fear and this should be addressed by more community participation of all the stakeholders in the society. The limitation of this approach is that the solutions will not be reflected immediately.
