We spoke at length about religious syncretism in class. It has been quoted by Carsten Colpe “No religious revolution is possible without paying the price of syncretism.” Therefore, below are relative examples which clearly display the manifestations of religious syncretism.Christianity is a world religion and is the best example of religious syncretism. Christianity is said to have found its roots in Judaism. It was founded before Christianity itself and influenced it further.

Thus, it can be said that Christianity is a manifestation of religious syncretism (Chung 1959).
