Training is of huge significance and one of the key factors for motivating the employees. Organizations also enjoy the benefits of programs providing development and training. This is because training is effective for the enhancement of good image, effectiveness and efficiency by the employees introducing improved and new attitude and skills acquired out of the key tasks (Wagner and Nissen, 2015). In the current era, it is important for NSF to realize the crucial role played by training in the organization. Key attempts must be put in for ensuring the provision of appropriately trained manpower, with not only knowledge about their jobs, but also about the culture of their organization. There must be encouragement of continuous improvement and learning on the job that is crucial for the success of the organization as well. The best approach to support and influence employees are by providing them with assistance for improving their skills and knowledge. There must be adaptability to change in Gabriel and for establishing the same, Aaron needs the support from and needs to support Gabriel in order to blend her in the culture of NSF.
The recommendations and concluding remark will be provided in relation to the case study and its analysis in this part of the report.
Considering this case study, it can be stated that the second level of the recommended three tiered approach of orientation will be of huge significance for Aaron, for involving Gabriel in the social events of the organization. This level helps in integrating the new employee with the culture of organization, mentors and co-workers, and unit procedures and processes (Taylor and Ho, 2005). The key purpose is to make Gabriel a part of the community of NSF. It is important for Gabriel to accept and understand the processes and culture of the unit, including things like social norms. This will be further helpful for Gabriel and the organization of NSF as she will be able to enhance her productivity.
