I harbored the dream to study in the United States when I was young and I have always made tireless struggles so as to realize it. At last, I was successfully enrolled by my beloved UM with 91 scores in TOEFL examination and 26 scores in American College Test (ACT) examination. Different from many poor students, I know and believe that I have strong learning ability. After my enrollment in the university, I increasingly became conceited. Until today did I am aware that the lives of assiduous study have just begun. Dare to say, to get dismissed by the university is the largest blow to me since I was born and was also a chance for me to reflect myself and become more mature.

Besides, my life in the United States was not very smooth as expected. Just at the beginning of last semester, I drove to send my classmates back home one night. It was in complete darkness and rained so heavily that I failed to notice the water puddles along the way. My car began to slip when I attempted to change the lane. Suddenly and unfortunately, my head hit the car window class and I became a little unconscious. About ten minutes later, I woke up and was aware that the front and rear of the car was severely damaged. It cost me almost a whole semester to get it repaired.
