The data will be collected mainly through the questionnaires. The sample of questionnaire is expected to be 200 belonging from different fields, classes and genders. It would be a good idea to distribute the questionnaire on the Internet, such as Facebook, WeChat and other social network as one of the channels of overseas purchasing is through the medium of internet, which shows that a substantial number of customers are active users of online forums (Jarvenpaa, Tractinsky, & Saarinen, 1999). However, most questionnaires survey will be conducted through physically interactive medium. The data will be analyzed to find out if the customers’ purchasing behavior has a positive or negative relationship with the development of overseas purchasing. The result obtained from questionnaire survey and the data from overseas purchasing channels survey will be analyzed together to predict the opportunities and challenges of overseas purchasing.The limitations involved in the research proposal can be categorized into two classes.From the theoretical perspective, this research is constrained with the little perspective of overseas purchasing. As a matter of fact, there are many other factors influencing the development of overseas purchasing, such as the tax, the political influences, international relationships, economic metrics etc.From the methodological perspective, this research is constrained due to the fewer samples.
Overseas purchasing involves a huge number of customers. The range of overseas purchasing customer network is spread over the global. Therefore, the results of the research are constrained to a small range of customers involved in overseas purchase network.The practice of overseas purchasing by citizens of any country is vital to the economy and growth of the country. A research has been proposed to investigate the future of overseas purchasing in China. China has the world’s most rapidly growing economy. Hence it is necessary to evaluate the influential conditions for the economists of the country in order to avoid uncertainties. The challenges and opportunities to overseas purchasing can be influenced by numerous factors. However this research focuses on the customers’ behavior along with its relative influencing factors; and channel preferences involved in overseas purchasing in China. The results of this research can be further utilized for study by overseas purchasers and sellers, businessmen, economists, politicians and IR representatives to derive certain important researches in their fields.
